Mounting a tv over a fireplace is always a task the can create a unique challenge. The usual challenges are dealing with brick and stone fireplaces. These jobs entail having to break a piece off the fireplace stone wall in order to complete the installation. This almost never gets a good reaction from the customer. Unfortunately that is what needs to be done for adding an outlet or hiding the wires.
In Lawrenceville Georgia, our service technician encountered a very different challenge; Firewalls. With a firewall installed behind the fireplace, it makes it almost impossible to fish wires, add an outlet or even drill into the wall. Therefore our experienced technician had to become very creative because the job must get done. It not only has to be done, but it also has to meet the standards that we strive to maintain a high quality tv installation service at TV HQ.
This scenario called for running the wires around the firewall using conduit pipes. This job was more challenging from the rest because the technician had to run the pipe to the outside of the home. The finished product inside the house looked like any other ordinary installation, but the outside of the home tells a whole different story.
This job actually took a couple of days to complete. This job further underscores the difficulties that occurs every now and then. When challenges like these occur it feels good to have professionals that are able to adapt to the situation. After all, when your move into your new home or purchase a new toy such as a 55 inch television, you don’t want to hear the word can’t.
